Our Safe Home in Columbus hires directly for these roles
When a woman takes the courageous step to leave exploitation, she needs more than a safe place to stay—she needs people who will remind her she is not alone.
As a Weekend Residential Assistant, you’ll help create a safe, welcoming environment where women can begin to rest and heal. Through practical support, encouragement, and compassionate care, you’ll play an important role in helping survivors take their first steps toward freedom.

One of our ongoing needs is for coverage team members at the safe home. These individuals step in to cover staff shifts when our regular team members are unavailable. You’ll receive advance notice of any opportunities, and you can choose to commit based on your availability.
This is a paid position, and your presence plays a vital role in ensuring consistent, high-quality care for our residents.

Triage and stabilization takes place through a partnership with House of Cherith and their Emergency Care Center (ECC). The ECC is able to serve both individual women and women with children.
