Middle Georgia

Welcome to The Freedom Collective

Our mission is to glorify God by bringing HOPE to victims of sexual exploitation, empowering them to live FREE, and ultimately abolishing sex trafficking. This mission is possible because of you!

Although the organization's name is young, our leadership team has over 10+ years of experience working together to fight sex trafficking and serve survivors in the Middle Georgia region.

Our Solution

Transitional Home Program

Beginning January 1, 2025, Barbara’s House will provide a home environment where adult women survivors who have graduated from long-term programs can continue moving towards independence. Programming will be minimal while focusing on empowerment, professional development, social and emotional learning, and connection to community resources.

Ways to Engage

Street Outreach: Several Friday evenings each month, volunteers participate in an outreach called Princess Night in parts of Macon and Warner Robins. Princess Night is your opportunity to share a message of God’s love and offer HOPE through roses and handwritten cards containing a 24-hour Hotline number.

Motel Outreach: Adopt-a-Block takes place each month on the Saturday morning following the Friday night Macon Princess Night outreach. Volunteers connect and pray with people they encounter at motels and other areas where exploitation often occurs.

Strip Club Outreach: Encounter is an incredible opportunity to bless women in strip clubs and show them the love of Christ. Volunteers visit a Middle Georgia club several times yearly to share gifts, handwritten cards, and loving prayers.

Jail mentorship: Women caught up in the life of trafficking and exploitation often wind up incarcerated. You have the unique opportunity to visit survivors in the Macon-Bibb County Jail each month, establishing relationships that can help change lives.

Hotline Volunteers: Our organization operates a 24/7 Hotline that can be called anytime day or night by anyone wanting help in leaving the life of exploitation. The Hotline respondents are volunteers trained to answer calls, assess each situation, offer encouragement, and walk each woman through the brief intake process.

Response Teams: Once a call is received, our Hotline Team coordinates a Response Team to pick the woman up in a safe meeting location and transport her to an emergency Safe Home.

Ambassador Teams: Ambassadors raise awareness of sex trafficking and exploitation and support for The Freedom Collective in the community. This often occurs through speaking engagements and/or hosting informational tables at events.

Transitional Home Mentors: Mentors support the residents of Barbara’s House with encouragement, assistance with transportation, and help building connections in the community.

Prayer Team: Join a committed group of individuals who pray for specific needs and requests as they arise, such as Hotline calls and responses, in real time. We also pray more broadly for staff, volunteers, and partners; and the total abolition of sex trafficking!
